jus caught CLICK yesterday with josh and sharon. personally, i think its a very powerful show. despite it being a comedy with adam sandler (im a fan of his work) as the lead, it brings a forward a very important message. that family is very important especially with a society of today.

its depicts adam sandler as a workaholic who always allows work to take priority over his family. and when he got himself a remote controller that enables him to fast forward time so that he can 'reach his final destination quicker', he begins to abuse it. by the time he realises the consequences of his actions, he has already allowed the controller to dictate his life and made him lose all the time he could have spent taking care of his family and watching his kids grow up.

the scene where he saw his father before his father died was damn sad. especially since it came in the form of sandler's memory. he was 'fast forwarded' to beyond his father's death, so he went back in time, to the point where he last saw his father. not only did he realise how much he hurt his father with his actions, he also comes to realise that he will nv see this person again. the part where he kept replaying his father's last words is a real tear jerker sia.

den the scene where he chased his son in the rain is beyond words sia. especially when he finally got his family back together only when he was dying. the note written ' will you love me in the morning?' followed by the answer 'forever and ever, babe' is my favourite quote from the entire film sia. it came in only 2 scene but it left a very huge impression on me.

personally recommend everybody to go and watch the show. especially those workaholics out there, it really makes you appreciate your family so much more. this show also proves that sandler can handle very serious roles too, despite his status as a comedic actor. the show combines comedy with moral lessons really well, incorporating very subtle but important issues smoothly with typical sandler humor. it can get pretty crude at times lar, but thats typical sandler what. whats important is the film is great. i say 8.5/10 because only a show like Band of Brothers deserve 10/10.
