Hello Hellooooo!!!! 2007 is moving away and we are gonna welcome 2008 in no time lar. wah, honestly, i think this yr passed by damn quickly lar, the fireworks i watched last yr with my 2e3 guys felt like it was only ytd lar. and now, we're gonna watch another fireworks display tml.
the yr's been pretty good for me, though nothing really eventful happened for me either. ya know, i really wish there were events which i could remember the yr with, like my graduation, enlistment or even me being a total baby at FOW/FOC last yr. though nothing much happened, im glad that i got to spend so much more time with my frens this yr, since i always have my weekends to 'waste' with them together. heres a little recap of the who's who in my life this yr ba. and also a little wrap up of the yr for me.
the good ol' buds from zhss - been meeting up with my 2e3 guys so much more often lar. movies, dinner and also the 'mandatory' lan sessions. ya know, i jus feel great that i still have these frens that i can rmb zhss with, especially all the nonsense 2e3 comes up with (we were the only lower sec class to be voted into the impromptu top 5 naughtiest class poll conducted in yr 2000 lar. ACHIEVEMENT LEH!!! =P). a 2e3 gathering with everybody has been in the talks since last yr ah, but nxt yr is like coming lar. so hopefully 2008 will see most 2e3 members tog for maybe dinner or bbq?
my poly bros - really really didnt meet up much this yr leh, could only rmb the vesak day dinner at 85, and we waited for 45mins for our 'ba cuo mee' lar. WTF, service needs to be improved. anyhow, i have this feeling im like a link btw jaz, best and colin, john lor. its always me, best and jaz or me, colin and john. nv full attendance de. and as for jason, well i jus wish i could see him more lar. but i always have fun with them lar, no matter wad we do, especially when we reminiscence abt the fun we had in poly.
my grp mates - the wonderful ladies whom i always neglect lar. i always talk of meeting up with 2e3 or my poly bros, but i always forget abt even mentioning them. jus had dinner with them recently and man it was fun lar, thanks to serene for the chocolates she made herself, jia ning for the 'coin box' and pris for the rocher. and im guilty of not getting them anything lar. so sorry. shall meet up damn soon again ya, wad with jia ning turning 22 in like no time.
lee jing, sara and jasmine - my mahjong kakis, but this yr like we nv play mahjong tog leh. always cancelled for some reason or another. anyhow, thanks to lee jing for max brenner. it was like darn nice lar, that was REALLY chocolate leh!! and jasmine for inviting me to ur bdae as well, though i was like at colin's place most of the time. and sara, pls org more mahjong sessions ya. =P
xiu hui and elene - my beloved and beautiful juniors. wah, seemed like only ytd when i meet them for OTC lar and they were yr 1s lor. alot of has changed since then ya, but having fun will nv change de. loads of minds with them this yr and also all the ice cream expedition we embarked on. now that u guys are in yr 3, mus work hard ya. especially for biz students, yr 3.2 is like darn stressful lar. 1 individual and 4 grp reports with a shortened sem wad with FO to take care of too. mus go to tom's palatte soon ya.
my 3 lovely darlings - of course cannot leave this 3 pple out lar. josh, saf and sharon. i see them almost every weekend lor. its almost turned into a ritual le lar, like something missing if i dun see them. its like a drug that i cannot get enuff off. always something for us to talk abt, even if its jus sitting down at 'smelly place' for a quick supper. yeah, 'smelly place' is our new athar. speaking of which, im like darn sad athar closed down lar, been part of my life since sec 3 leh. but theres a new hunting ground for us, and its not too faraway too, and food is good too.
anyhow, this yr i watched loads and loads of movies leh. so heres my top 12 movies for the yr in ranking order.
1) 300 - damn good lar. think i can watch it a million times lor.
2) Chuck and Larry - funny funny funny, funniest movie this yr for me
3) Wild Hogs - darn funny lar. wad with travolta in it.
4) Ratatouille - the ever adorable rat who can cook. darn cute.
5) Simpsons - 20 yrs and still going, of course its good lar. like the jet pack part most.
6) Transformers - action packed wor, nothing but the best CG
7) Letters from Iwo Jima - very deep movie, war is cruel!!
8) Pirates of the Carribean - Cpt Jack leh!! thats everything le lar.
9) I am Legend - cool lar, Will Smith is darn good in it.
10) The Warlords - Andy Lau, thats enuff le
11) Stardust - Claire Danes is pretty pretty. but story is nice too.
12) Spiderman - disappointed, can be better. but kirsten dunst rocks
read quite a few books this yr too. fav has to be Tuesday with Morrie le lar. damn touching lar, Morrie's spirit, i think the world would do well to emulate it lar. go and read it pls. its really good.
there's also Sushi Tei that cannot go without mentioning. its good good good. i think ever since we had sushi tei for dinner, all other restaurants pale in comparisons lar. not only is the food good, its not too ex as well. definitely a good place to have dinner.
of course, theres the picture i took with LTC Fred Chong, a Navy Seal. jus looking at him is cool lar, i shook his hand too, wow, a moment to remember definitely.

oh yeah, taking driving lessons now too. its darn cool lar, but also quite diff ah. especially when i keep stalling, that feeling sucks lar. dang, i need to work on my concentration man. and im watching Goong now too, hahaha, i know im a bit later than most lar. but still not too late ya. Eun Yoon Hye is darn cute lar, her actions especially when dealing with Shin, damn funny.

Design Canteen; Mensa 1 and 2!!! all the food, all the enjoyment!!! and not to mention my home ground, Business Park!! maybe go and crash a lecture or 2 as well. WOOOHOOO!!!
shall have loads of fun tml!! and going swimming with josh too. =D TP ROCKS MAN!!

HELLO HELLO!! its been a very good 2 weeks since i last posted. although nothing eventful really happened, its still a nice break from all the 'depression' of the past month yeah. by the way, i passed advance theory for driving so its onwards my license now. and since i'll be on leave most of december, i hope i can achieve a good few lessons before the hectic month of jan begins. and of course, the target of driving license before ORD is very much on track.
anyhow, holiday season coming soon; haji, christmas and new year all like damn close to each other lar. so yeah, have fun everybody!! getting drunk not advisable though. =P
speaking of drinking, i went to holland V for the first time last nite lar. yeah yeah, sounds damn sua ku eh, but it really was my first time there. anyhow, we went to this pub/bar/cafe? called Wala Wala. its cool lar. they have live band performance every nite lar, but on thurs and sat this band called The UnXpected!! COOL BAND LAR!!!
I SWEAR TO GOD, IN THE NAME OF UNITED, they're good man. and when i say good i really mean good lar. i personally feel they're one of the best local bands around lar. and it jus seemed like everybody was there to listen to them.
their lead vocals is a girl called shirlyn tan. a rocker chick man!! and man is she charismatic lar, very humourous and she's got a very powerful voice lar. heard this song called Window? its getting loads of airplay on radio, well its by her. yeah yeah, i read up loads on The UnXpected today after their performance last nite. the rest of the band's damn zai too, the lead guitarist is called rene and when he performed the solos, he looked darn cool and power packed lor, their drummer is called brandon, he worked with loads of overseas artiste before lar and the recent 881 soundtrack, well, all the percussion was done by him too. theres also colin the keyboardist and asri the bassist. both are botak and they looked like the quiet quiet cool cool types, theres another member called joan who wasnt there. guess wad she plays? .........VIOLIN!! violin in a rock band, sounds interesting rite?
why am i so into them now? cos they played a metallica song last nite, and metallica songs are not easy lar. darn good, and to think it was a girl singing it and digging it made it so much more cooler. and of cos, the rest of the set was fantastic too, very high energy and everybody was right into the music. not easy for a band to actually capture the entire audience's attention and they did it marvellously, everybody was calling for an encore when they ended the show lor, thats how good they are. go check them out ya, really really good. wonder when they'll release an album , i'll be sure to buy it though.
oh yeah, joshie josh turned 21 loh. the wait is over and we can watch R21 shows together. hahaha. thanks for the chalet get together as well, it was fun. also a very belated happy bdae to lee jing too. thanks for the treat at max brenner, it was really good chocolate man. thanks alot. and to shar, sorry i couldnt turn up for ur bdae. hadnt seen u in awhile too, lets have a TB012 gathering soon yeah, and have everybody meet up. =P
