Whoa, seems like time really flies ya. like not so long ago, i jus enlisted and now, im only 2 months away from ORD lar. hahaha!!! cant wait man but at the same time im a lil apprehensive and scared abt wad im gonna do when i ORD leh.
for the past month, i've been thinking and thinking. wad will / can i do when i ORD? ya know, i finished my poly education, got my diploma. normally, that would mean work when i ORD. but im a only child and definitely, i need to support my parents once i start working. but how much can a diploma fetch me in the job market?? $1200 - $1500 max, probably enuff to jus feed myself and maybe a lil bit of luxury. therefore, i know i'll need to further my education definitely. gets me a better starting pay and gives me the chance to learn more. but degree education is not cheap leh, and who is gonna pay for it? im definitely not gonna make my parents pay for it sia, they're not getting younger leh, i cannot expect them to work jus to support my education wor, they have a right to enjoy life too man.
study loan, definitely, thats the choice that many of the undergrads took. and me myself, i think thats the most probable path that i'll take too. but come to think of it, when i start working, it means i have to work to repay the loan leh. WAH, SUCKS LIKE HELL LAR!! honest, i dun like the idea at all but i guess i dun have a choice ba. as we NSFs always say, lan lan suck thumb lor. den recently, got news that one of my sec school frens is married with a kid le, definite shotgun lar, but my thought was, wads he gonna do with his life?? only 22 and has to support a kid and wife. if he depends on his parents den to me, he's a goddamn bastard lar. but at 22, how much can he do??
i dunnoe how, but its his situation that got me thinking and scared lar. i'm already 22 leh, not young anymore le. by the time i finish my degree, im like 24 and nowhere in life. WTF, my goal is to be married with kids by the time im 30 lar. if the above holds true, den im down man. currently, i dun even have a gf, im still serving army. seems like all my life's plans are in a mess lar. of course, anything could happen within these few yrs, and im not sticking by the 30 mus get married rule though it would be ideal. hell, i dun even know wad i wan now. talking to all my pals recently and all we can conclude is we really 'wasted' 2 yrs man. nope, im a sticker and believer in NS, cos if we dun defend our country, who will? but 2 yrs jus seems like a bloody long time man, theres jus so much i wanna do and could do in this period sia. looks like im jus gonna have to spend my remaining time more wisely le lar. everything wrong with my life during poly will jus have to be rectified and time has jus got to be better spent. honest, its been a while since i've been this scared abt my future leh, my future is in my hands but at the same time i dun feel like i've got a good grip of it at all. =(
anyhow, on a brighter note. UNITED IN THE FINALS BABY!!!!! WOOHOOO!! haven been this happy in awhile le lar. hahaha. my hands still hurt from all the fist pumping when scholes scored and when the ref blew the final whistle lar!! wah lao, the final 15 mins was pure agony leh, it felt like 15hrs lor. pls pls, if Barca had scored jus 1 goal, we would have been screwed lar. but United played admirably man, defended well and always threatening when we went forward. and mus definitely mention Scholesy's goal lar. wah piang, that goal was a trademark of his wor!! go to youtube and search, u'll find that most of his goals were scored from that range and power de lar. but nv has it been this important sia, and of course, he doesnt score as much recently le, but he scored at the right time man. WOOOHOO, FULL SPEED AHEAD MOSCOW!!!
