howdy kids! how's life? well, i've started work alr. and u guessed it, its at TP. hahaha. pay is good ah, food is cheap ah, environment is good ah. wad more can u ask for? anyhow, mus thank serene for telling me where to apply, otherwise, i think i'll still be slacking my behind out at home lor.

anyhow, today im gonna talk abt COMEX 2008. why? cos yours truly went to work there man. lobang from my beloved cousin, and since i had nothing to do, might as well lor and besides, i know it would be a good learning experience. and boy, it didnt disappoint lar, maybe except the pay part. but it was great fun man even though it was straining and tiring. and there were so many pple there, even going to the toilet is a chore ah, have to squeeze here and there. jus thinking abt going to the toilet puts us off, rather go when really cannot tahan anymore.

well, i worked for Harvey Norman helping to sell panasonic phones. dun belittle phones ok, i sold 10,000 dollars worth of phones in 4 days lor!! thats alot alot of phones ah. but the commission sucked to the max man. nontheless, its the working experience and fun i had there that counts.

fun with who?? the customers lar and my colleagues of course. well, i've been in service line all my life ah and i thot i've seen all sorts of customers liao ah. boy, was i wrong. there are jus so many diff types lar; the nice ones, the indecisive ones, the picky ones, the rich ones.... i can name them till tml and still not finish.

i dunnoe how to say lar, but it was jus fun meeting so many diff type of pple. true, it can get pissing but if u take a moment to look at their reactions and see how they react to u, its cool lar. i can play so many roles too, the good service provider or the bad. treat the bad customers with good service and they'll be impressed and likewise, treat the good customers with bad service, if they are desperate enuff, they'll still buy from u. but credit to myself, i played the good role all the time ah, except the final 3 hrs of the fair where i jus switched off, answering qns with minimum effort. hahaha. and there are some customers whom u can talk cock with non stop de. joke with them, laugh with them and u'll clinch a deal. too many examples le lar, but it was fun lor, super duper. jus so many things going on at 1 time, u wouldnt have the time to absorb it all in until later, and den when u do, u jus realise how much fun it is.

and my colleagues, all pple i got to know there. of course lar, first day didnt talk much with each other. but den slowly slowly, it gets interesting ah, like laughing at each other when we squat down tog to rest our dog tired legs, complaining abt the customers and their many weird qns. and den of course, jus plain talking cock. anyhow, heres pictures of them.this is trevor, my direct superior. he's a perm staff of harvey norman ah. and he's under alot of pressure cos mus meet sales target mah. but he very nice wor, nv pressure us at all. only told us to do our best, if can sell den sell; cannot, force also no point. and always joke and talk cock with us, helps with the mood alot alot.this here is yanru. guess how old she is. 17!!! yes yes, 17 this yr. wah lao, mei mei lor. makes me feel so old lar. when i poly yr 1, she only P6 lar. ngee ann poly student. super energetic ah. even when we are darn tired le, she will still approach the customer to help lar, while i jus hid behind the white displays in the background of the pic slacking. super good when i darn tired, i can jus ask her to take over. hahaha. cos i old liao mah.and this cute girl here is huiqi. same age as yanru, actually they have known each other since sec 1 lar. i click best with her le, cos we always got alot of nonsense. we always hide behind the displays and den laugh at how useless we are. funniest was when this indian guy came and ask price when comex was alr closed, when he heard the price, he said he'll come back later...... wad come back later??!! we are alr closed!! so i jus stared at huiqi and we started laughing out loud causing everybody to look at us. and also, she is darn ticklish ah, can fight with elene. but i still think elene wins hands down.
and this is wad goes on behind the scenes. look at all the flyers on the floor. this is when we are closed for the day ah. the amount of paper wasted and how inconsiderate pple are. but nxt day morn, it will be darn clean again. kudos to the cleaning specialists for a job well done!!ok, this 2 pics were taken at 2203 and 2205 respectively. why? cos its alr 1 hr pass the closing hr and there are still pple trying to get bargains lar. and this A1 Computer ah, very irritating leh, every min will use the mic to call pple come and buy. hellooooo!!! its 1 hr pass closing, stop it alr lar, u also money no enuff ah??!!and finally, this is the the uncles hard at work, dismantling all the fixtures from the event. they have to clear the entire exhibition hall by that nite lor. hard at work, hard at work....

yah know, its been nearly 3 months le. everytime i think abt u, i still get the chills, somehow..... memories jus keeps flooding back in. all the laughter we had, the nonsense that comes up and all the could have beens. whenever i passby PLAB, i think of u and the career u could have had. when i look up and see all the pilots zooming abt, i always think of wad u will achieve and to me, u are definitely the best pilot in the world. now that u are flying so freely, i hope that u are well and i know u are guarding all of us from above jus like the pilots that take off everyday.

even though i hate that chilly feeling when i think of u, i dun ever wanna lose it. cos it tells me that u are not to be forgotten and everything we love, we fear we lose it.
