first off, a bloody cute video from snow patrol called 'Signal Fire'. its the soundtrack to spiderman 3. Saf told me abt it, and its seriously darn cute lor, especially the kids. the song is nice too.
Nxt, I would like to say, 'ITS OUR TITLE'. yeah man, the wait is finally over. United are Champions of England once again!!! its been 4 long yrs sia. and maybe its the wait, but this title victory jus tastes so much more sweeter. what i wan to say is, the title was loaned out for the past 3 seasons lar. and now, we have reclaimed back what is rightfully ours. United Rulz; Chelsea can go suck balls and Liverpool can continue to wait unitl the cows come home. Long Live United!!!
ok, better not get too cocky here, there are still many things we haven won. =P
anyhow, life's been pretty good recently. had dinner with jia ning, fauzrin, priscilla and serene last friday. been sometime since i had a meal with them together le, and wad a night it was. full of surprises lar. dinner was at pizza hut and in came my first surprise, they got me a milk bottle lar!!!! and according to them its a branded one lor. (pigeon brand) bloody hell, made me drink milk from it in the restaurant somemore. so embarrassing lor. i think the queuing pple mus have been wondering what the hell is a grown man drinking from a milk bottle for?!! anyhow, its darn cute lar and funny too.
nxt, we moved out to hagen daz for fondue. wah piang, we were snatching like mad lar. but it was darn delicious can. everything jus seemed to go well with the hot hot chocolate. and den came my second surprise. they got me a soldier figurine!! bloody hell, do u realise how much that thing mus have cost? so nice of them lar. the soldier was so detailed lar; rifle, SBO, helmet etc etc. something i always wanted lor. hehehe, thanx ladies. together with the package came a new Billabong wallet and also a PACIFIER!!! =X. hahaha, and they forced me to suck on that thing and take picture. =( there was also a card hand-made by serene. very nice card, all the effort she mus have put into making it lar. honestly, i really enjoyed myself that night sia, so much fun and laughter. thanx ladies, and as for ur wishes. i'll work hard ya. ;P (i'll post some pics when i receive them ya, took some rather interesting pictures lor)
and that friday night was a great night for another reason. My dear fren of 14 yrs passed his CPFT!!(a swim of 200m with rifle, FBO to clear SOC and FBO to run 3.5km in 52mins) YES!!! josh passed CPFT!!! so happy lar, he nv did pass once during his course lor. and on the actual test, he passed!! 49mins!! so, i can officially call him Fitness Specialist Joshua Kok. hahaha. so darn cool!! hopefully, he gets posted to a good unit ya. thats y i say life's been pretty good.
on a rather sad note, athar closed down le. yes, the place where i spent loads of time slacking with my frens closed down le. and the place nxt to it is bloody cock up lar. to think they belong to the same boss sia. such a difference in quality lar. and thus, me and saf has christened that place, the 'cock up place'. hahaha. but still, athar closed down le. kinda sad its gone le and theres no place for us to jus chill. at least we haven found one yet. no worries though, we'll find a place soon enuff.
been reading quite a bit recently too. 'Angels and Demons' borrowed from saf; 'Howl's Moving Castle' borrowed from xiu hui; and saf got me this book called 'Time Goes to War'. all very good read sia. watched the movie for 'howl's moving castle' long long ago, but i think the book is better lor, cos it jus explains so much more things in details. and 'time goes to war' is uber cool lar. the pictures in there are all awesome lor, showing the best pictures taken by war photographers. some of the images are very shocking lor but its very nice sia, and a very good read too. to think he got me something so good before he left for brunei. anyhow, saf is at brunei now le, for JCC. all the best to him sia.
lastly, Captain Jack Sparrow is setting sail soon!!! hahaha. finally after almost a yr of waiting, the coolest pirate the world has ever seen will set sail once again. and he is passing by Singapore too!! bloody hell, i still hate the ending to the 2nd movie lar. left it on a cliffhanger and made me wait for 1 bloody yr. anyhow, good things are worth the wait ya. should be a wonderful movie lor. and this time its the final installment le, so i guess it will be one hell of an epic lor. hahaha. lets all go watch the movie.
