its been raining almost daily for the past week ah, its starting to get irritating man. honestly, i like it when it rains, its jus so nice, dunnoe how to describe, its jus nice lar. but, it has now becomed too much of a good thing ah, kinda getting on my nerves, jus feels like its gloomy all day long. anyhow, soccer last week was in rainy conditions. power lar, love to play when it rains cos u wont feel the heat and it jus seems like i could run on and on and on, esp the feeling of the rain on ur face is nicest of all le. den again, its makes for playing all the more hard ah, ball will skid, u will slip and passing is so much more diff but its a test of our abilities no? jus hope that it doesnt rain as much, except maybe when im sleeping, u should know how it feels when it rains heavily in the middle of the nite when u are sleeping ah. jus SHIOK lar!!
ok, enuff of this rain stuff. went to 2 of my fav places recently ah, MINDS and Tom's Palette (when am i going wala again? i miss shirlyn leh) tom's was the usual ice cream and talk cock ah, but ice cream was on the house thanks to mistake from the boss. hahaha. the peanut butter ice cream was great ah, gives me the 'tang yuan' feeling all over again. anyhow, they are trying out new things now and its jus so nice to see them trying to improve their business and giving their customers new treats - eunice researching on how to display their ice cream aesthetically, and making new web page. and the waffle we tried was good ah, had cheese integrated into it, so its like doubly good man. hehehe.
MINDS with my 2e3 gang, and hwa san joined us. a rare occurence ah but yeah man, hopefully he can turn up more. anyhow, hwa san is like josh ah, frens since P1 only not as close, though the 3 of us used to be inseperable de. thanx to zhss bball. and yeah, by the conclusion of this yr, 2e3 or rather 1e3 will be 10yrs old ah. so we're planning on a chalet nxt yr to try and get everybody tog and jus have fun lar. hopefully can get at least half the class to turn up? so yeah yeah, pls pls make it happen cos we really haven meet up in a long time le. and yen lin told me mr keong is retiring this yr ah, so maybe a good albeit belated gift for him too?
ok, continuing on my MetallicA mania. no lar, jus that i was searching thru youtube for live songs and chanced upon S&M, ok, nothing wrong here, it stands for Symphony & MetallicA. nv heard before rite? symphony music with heavy metal? well, MetallicA and Michael Kamen made it happen in 1999 man. ok lar, totally forgot abt this masterpiece of an art until abt 2.30pm today. anyhow, this really opened the way for metal fans to know more abt symphony music and vice versa. and playing with the San Francisco Symphony makes it all the more cool cos they are like one of the world's leading orchestra le. so yeah, go check it out, u'll be amazed how well the songs of MetallicA can actually blend in with an Orchestra's sound. and rarely do u see 4 rockers so nicely and smartly dressed ah. hehehe. Rock On MetallicA.
anyhow, this bags the question, when is MetallicA ever gonna come to Singapore? damn, those pple in europe and america and even japan gets to see them at least once a yr lar. and me? the last time they came was in 1993 lor. probably cos the crowd den sucked ah, thats y they decided singapore as a rock venue is cannot make it de. but hor, recently we doing quite well ah, esp singfest, should help bolster our reputation ba? so yeah, pls pls come to singapore as one of the World Magnetic Tour stops! anyhow, 12 days to go!!! cant wait cant wait!!
